Rules and conditions
1. There are seven different awards, not all of which require entry. Please see each separate award page on our website for exact details on specific awards
2. The awards are open to any Local Land Charges Officer or department in England and Wales
3. Applications can be submitted by email to awards@land-data.org.uk or by posting your application to Natasha Campbell, Marketing Department, Land Data Awards, 25 Southampton Buildings, London, WC2A 1AL
4. The voting process for applicable awards will commence 8 September 2009
5. Closing date for all awards is 31 October 2009
6. Submissions should be no longer than 750 words and should clearly state what has been achieved. If you require more room than has been provided, please use a separate sheet of paper and include this with your entry application
7. Supporting materials should be included where appropriate
8. The entry submitted must not be the same as previous years
9. All information provided will be used only for the purposes of these awards
10. Land Data reserves the right to publish the results of the awards to the media
11. Judging of the awards will be completed by the end of December 2008 and the judges' decision is final
12. Awards applications - figures. In order to be considered for the Awards that reflect local authority search figures, authorities will need to have input all* relevant search figures into their MyNLIS market share page. *Definitions are as follows:
- OTC = CON29R & O & LLC1 paper via DX, post or Fax.
- Electronic = CON29R & O & LLC1 via NLIS
- Other electronic = CON29R & O & LLC1 via email, LA website or other non NLIS means
- Personal searches
13. There are no entry fees for the Local Land Charges Awards
14. If you require any leaflets to be returned, please highlight when sending your application in and also send a self addressed envelope for us to return your work
